Hostel warden and Owne strically involve for proper functioning and day to day activities of the mess. Mess committee is also empowered to impose a monetary penalty in case of unsatisfactory performance by the mess staff.
The menu of the food is make by student after fresher party of new batch of every year. This menu is revised periodically with feedback from student. Along with the vegetarian food, organic food on alternate days is served. Those people who are suffering from any health disorders, sick diet is served to them on request. There is a provision for the guests/relatives for taking the food in the hall mess on either cash coupon or entering the details in hall resident account.
Any complaint about quality and quantity of the food being served can be write in complaint book available in the Mess. Owner or Warden go through this register on daily basis and supposed to take corrective action.
Our all Girls Hostel provides a fully furnished spacious reading room with an air cooler in it, for comfortable reading. Comfortable rooms are located in the ground floor of mess hall complex and 5th floor of the mess. Reading room is one of the recreational rooms, located quite opposite to the TV room of 5th floor. The reading room is having sufficient number of both English and hindi news papers, magazines of different genre along with the popular regional magazines. More than 500 No of books available including of all student like Art and Science student. The residents can get books from circulation library by becoming members of it. The residents can read the book newspapers & magazines without taking any charge.
